Nestled at the foot of Mt Jefferson in Montana's Eastern Centennials mountain's on the Eastern boundary of Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, the Cabin at Red Rock Lakes offers unparalleled access to one of the last few unspoiled valleys in the Northern Rockies, the Centennial Valley... 29 miles from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park, 16 miles from the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge headquarters and 8 miles from Henry's Lake, Idaho, the fir-and-aspen forest on the property opens to a delightful stretch of sagebrush meadows watered by willow-fringed brooks and creeks and surrounded by the Centennial mountains. This is the Alaska Basin, the eastern end of Montana’s fabled Centennial Valley. The Cabin at Red Rock Lakes is located on the east corner of the basin at the foot of Red Rock Mountain and Mt Jefferson. The Centennial Valley is one of southwest Montana’s highly protected valleys. Straddling the Idaho border and overlooking the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge the ranch offers incredible mountain and valley views and the first private access on both sides to 1 mile of the Hell Roaring Creek, known to be the utmost source of the Missouri River flowing from nearby Brower's Spring at the foot of Mt Jefferson. The lower portions of the ranch offer gentle topography and unfettered access to the adjacent Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge through which flows the Upper Red Rock Creek. Access is also available to a nearby 6-acre creek and spring-fed pond stocked annually with native pure-strain Westslope Cutthroat trout (conditions apply).
