FROM WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT 

Head West on I-20 towards Idaho Falls. Pass the Montana/Idaho State line and turn right onto ID-87 North towards Ennis. After 5.1 miles turn left onto Henry's Lake Road (Rte 055) towards Frome State Park. Turn right onto Red Rock Pass Road (Rte 058) towards Red Rock Lakes Nat'l Wildlife Refuge (improved dirt road).

Head West 1 mile on the South Valley Road past the Idaho/Montana State line. The ranch's entrance at 44000 South Valley Road is to your left.

FROM ISLAND PARK, ID 

(intersection of North Big Springs Loop Road, Rte 024 & I-20)

Head North on I-20 for 3.8 miles. Turn left onto Rte 053 towards Lakeview, Red Rock Road.

Drive 4.7 miles and pass Red Rock RV Park to your right. Turn left 2.4 miles later onto Red Rock Pass Road (Rte 058) towards Red Rock Lakes Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. 

This is an improved dirt road: 4WD is advised, or drive slowly. Pass the Idaho/Montana State Line (4.3 miles) and the Continental Divide. Head West 1 mile past the State line. The ranch's entrance at 44000 South Valley Road is to your left.

FROM ENNIS, MT

Head South 40.4 miles on Highway 287 for 40.4 miles. Turn right onto Route 87 South towards Raynolds Pass. Drive 8.5 miles towards the Montana/Idaho State Line (Raynolds Pass). Drive 4 miles and turn rigjt onto Henry's Lake Road (Rte 055) at the "Welcome City of Island Park” & “Historical Site - Sawtell’s Ranch” signs.

After 5.6 miles turn right onto Red Rock Pass Road (Rte 058) towards Red Rock Lakes Nat’l Wildlife Refuge. This is an improved dirt road: 4WD advised, or drive slowly. Drive 4.3 miles to the Idaho/Montana State Line - Continental Divide. Head West 1 mile on the South Valley Road. The ranch's entrance at 44000 South Valley Road is to your left.

FROM LIMA, MT

Head South on I-15 towards Idaho Falls for 14.7 miles. Exit I-15 at Exit 0 - Monida. Head East on South Valley Road/Rte 509. This is an improved dirt road: 4WD is advised. Head East 27.4 Miles to Red Rock Lakes Nat’l Wildlife Refuge Headquarters at Lakeview. Head East on South Valley Road (Rte 509) for 9.8 miles.

Turn right onto South Valley Road East (Rte 509) at the intersection with US Forest Service Road 8384. Head East 4.5 miles. The ranch's entrance at 44000 South Valley Road is to your right.
